How South Coast Medical Group Is Handling COVID-19
Many around the world are doing their part to stop the spread of COVID-19 during this critical time. As Aliso Viejo’s first doctor and medical practice, we want to share with our patients how we are doing our part to help the community.
During this time, we believe staying open to provide medical care for our patients is important. We are taking extra precautions and utilizing the information we receive from the CDC, the WHO, and the local and state Health Departments to ensure we give you accurate information and provide you with the best care.

Safe Zones
We enforce that our staff does not come into our office if they show any signs of illness. For our healthy practitioners, they are required to wash their hands frequently to keep you and our other staff safe.
For patients that need to come into the office, we offer hand sanitizer upon your visit.
We also have made an extra effort to thoroughly disinfect and sanitize our waiting rooms, treatment areas, medical equipment, x-ray rooms, and common areas.
Wait In Your Car
Don’t want to get out of the car? Patients will be offered the option of waiting in the waiting room or their cars until they are ready to be taken to the examination room. We do ask that if possible, please try to complete most of your paperwork online and at home to minimize wait times inside the clinic.
Telemedicine
Although this method may not be an option for all patients, it may be the right choice depending on your conditions. To see what conditions you can use telemedicine for, click here. To book a telemedicine appointment, call our appointment scheduling department at (949) 360-1069 or book online.
We have been diligently screening all patients to make sure they don’t have symptoms associated with COVID-19. If you have been experiencing ANY cold or flu symptoms presently or in the last 14 days, have been exposed to anyone with a respiratory illness or fever (higher than 100.4 degrees), have been exposed to anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 virus, or has traveled abroad, or in an area with a high number of cases within the last 14 days, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment.
Our hours of operation for both in-person and telemedicine are:
Monday-Friday: 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
Sunday: 10:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
The safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. We appreciate the trust our patients have in us and look forward to being of service to you.
