Dual Doctor’s Waiting Areas in Aliso Viejo – Healthy Side and Under the Weather Side
If you’ve ever gone to the doctor’s office for a routine visit, physical, or injury and felt uncomfortable sitting in the same waiting area as sick people, we’ve got great news for you!
South Coast Medical Group has established two sides: The Health and Wellness Side and the Under the Weather Side. Patients will be directed to one of the sides based on their specific conditions.
These sides are not areas designed for COVID-19 patients. If you or a loved one has COVID-19, please call our office at 949-360-1069, press 8, and let our staff know that you are not feeling well. We will have you schedule a sick visit and guide you through our safety protocols to be cared for without risk to others.
Otherwise, if you are COVID-19 free, we want to share the differences between the two sides to help you navigate to the right area.
Health and Wellness Side
We want to ensure that our healthy patients are not exposed to any harmful symptoms or illnesses. This is why we created the Health and Wellness side to keep these patients away from those who are not feeling in tip-top shape. On this side, we can help you with the following:
- Injuries
- Annual screenings
- Prescription refills
- Referrals
Under the Weather Side
If you aren’t feeling the best, we want to help you feel better. To help protect those around you who are not feeling these same symptoms, we have created the Under the Weather Side so we can keep all patients who are feeling similar in the same place. This also allows us to give you critical attention. On this side, we can help patients with the following:
- Cough
- Sore throat
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Headache

Monday-Friday: 8:00 a.m.- 7:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
Sunday: 10:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
